The City of Columbus is gearing up for the 2026 Mayor’s Unity Celebration, and we’re looking for dedicated volunteers to help make this free community event unforgettable. This celebration brings families together at the Columbus Riverwalk for food, music, activities and fellowship. If you love community, enjoy helping others, or just want to be part of something positive happening in Columbus, we’d love to have you join us. Don’t forget your lawn chairs or picnic blankets!
Volunteers are needed to assist with:
• Set‑up and food preparation - (8:00 to 10:30 am)
• Serving food - (10:00 am to 2:00 pm)
• Bounce houses and kids’ activities - (10:00 am to 2:00 pm)
• Clean-up - (2:00 to 4:00 pm)
Special Notes:
- Sign-in upon arrival at the Volunteer Booth.
- Registered volunteers will receive a complimentary t-shirt. Please make a selection.
- Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes.
- This event will be held outdoors.
